Scientists study so many different things, they come from many different places, and they are different ages and genders. The one thing ALL scientists have in common is that they are curious about the world around them and they ask questions ALL the time to learn more. Boys and girls, no wonder you make such great scientists! You have so many questions to ask!
Each month we will be learning about two famous scientists. The scientists we will learn about are from different time periods, from different places in the world, with different abilities, and some share different beliefs than we do as Christians. Despite the differences we may have with the ideas a scientists thinks or the opinions someone has, we can still learn something about the scientific process and marvel at how God has created us all with different strengths and struggles AND how God can use everyone to His glory! God is the ultimate scientist! The Bible tells us in Ephesians 2:10 "For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.". God has a plan for each of us: Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. God has used these scientists to discover things about His creation and share them with the world! These scientists have discovered things about animals, outer space, the human body, medicine, electricity, crops, and so much more!
